Facility Rental

Wahsega 4-H Center is the perfect place to plan your next weekend group outing. We have an ideal setup for scout groups, church youth or college group retreats and other types of groups that want to spend time together in the outdoors.

Minimum Group size is 20 people for overnight groups. We recommend making reservations well in advance. Supervision of youth is required at all times. Minimum charge for meals is 40 people.

These prices do not apply to weekday school environmental education field trips.

Typical Weekend Packages

Full Weekend 2-night package: Arrive Friday after 4pm, 2 nights lodging, 3 meals on Saturday, 2 meals on Sunday, 2 classes on Saturday, depart Sunday afternoon: $141 per person

1 Night package: Arrive Saturday morning, Saturday lunch and dinner, 1 class, depart Sunday before 11am. $68 per person

2 Night package (No meals or classes): Arrive Friday after 4pm, 2 nights lodging, depart Sunday. We have a refrigerator, pavilion with charcoal grill, electrical outlets, and tables where you can prepare and eat your own meals. $57 per person.

Day Group Facility Rental Charges (minimum charge of 40 people for day groups) Day Use Charge: $11 per person for groups not staying overnight. Additional fee to rent buildings:

Dining Hall:  $400 ( Meeting space only–Dining Hall kitchen is not available for 3rd party use)

Rec Hall and classrooms: $300

Make your own custom program (minimum of 20 people for overnight groups, min. 40 for meals)  Meals: Breakfast $11.50; Lunch $12; Dinner $13 (premium adult meals incur additional charges) Lodging: $20 per person per night (cabins hold up to 14 people each), administrative fee applies to all guests: $5 per person, Conference fee per person per day (to use the grounds during the daytime): $6 classes: $12 per person per class High Ropes Surcharge: $10 per person per activity (zip line, climbing wall, flying squirrel) Dining Hall rental for meeting space: $400 per day (Rec hall and classrooms free for overnight groups

Notes: You must bring your own bedding, pillows, towels, shampoo, etc. for cabins. We can accommodate most special dietary needs, such as vegetarian, gluten free, etc.

Environmental Education

Wahsega 4-H Center specializes in memorable hands-on field studies for all types of school and homeschool groups. We offer overnight and day programs.

The rates listed below are only for Weekday 4-H Environmental Education field studies at Wahsega 4-H Center. These rates apply to each child and adult in attendance. Teachers, chaperones and parents pay the full rate charged per person.

Description Price Notes
3-Day field study $150 Three days and two nights; includes 6 meals, 6 day classes (1 taught by teachers from the school), 4 night classes (2 taught by teachers from the school).
2-Day field study $102 Two days and one night; includes 4 meals, 4 day classes, 2 night classes (1 taught by teachers from the school).
1-Day field study $41 Includes lunch or dinner and 3 day classes.
2 Hour Day Program-*select days only* $14 2 shortened one-hour classes. Bring your own sack lunch. Only available Monday morning (depart by 1:00), Friday afternoon (between noon and 3:00), or reservations made less than 2 months before trip date.
High Ropes surcharge (climbing wall, zip line or flying squirrel) $10 Charged per participant per class in addition to the field study fee listed above when you select a high ropes class.

Summer Camp

We book county 4-H clubs rather than individual children for Cloverleaf Camp. You may still be able to get your child registered  for 4-H camp through your local county 4-H club.
