Wahsega Environmental Education Day Programs
Winter 2020-2021

Bring your homeschooling students to the Wahsega 4-H Center for hands-on environmental education classes and get in touch with the natural world!

We are offering classes every Tuesday and Friday in December, January and February at 1pm.  These are ideal field study opportunities for homeschoolers to experience learning in the outdoors.

Your group is welcome to spend time enjoying Wahsega’s beautiful North Georgia mountian setting before or after class.  We have miles of trails through the Chattahoochee National Forest, a pond, a creek with a waterfall, charcoal grills, fire rings, basketball, volleyball and a large rec fields.  Wahsega is the perfect location for a group of homeschool families to lunch and learn and play during a warm winter day.

Classes are geared towards students age 4-12.  Your family will stay together in the same class and will join with other families.  A parent or guardian must stay with their students.
