Third-Party Groups

Organized youth and adult groups can enjoy Tybee Island and nearby Savannah through many of our facility offerings. We offer opportunities for relaxation, learning, natural wonders and local history! Guests can enjoy many amenities such as a campfire ring, recreation facilities, salt marsh view, basketball and volleyball court. We provide easy access to the local bike paths as well as a short half-mile walk to the beach. Our staff are happy to give recommendations for local walks, spots to see and activities for your free time. Let the Burton 4-H Center be the destination for your next retreat, conference, meeting, or weekend getaway.

Lodging

Dormitory accommodation is basic and designed for group-style lodging. Actual dorm assignments are based on group size and gender breakdown. Requests for additional dormitories beyond what is required for group size will incur an additional fee.

Lodging

Guests are responsible for bringing their own linens, bedding, towels, and personal toiletries.

Additional Dorm Reservation Fee

This fee helps cover the additional cleaning, preparation, and facility usage costs associated with opening and maintaining an extra building.

Late Check-out

Building Rentals
Dining Hall “Front Porch” Rental

Includes access to fridge, first-aid station, small sink, coffee pot, tea kettle, hot plate, vending machine, tables, chairs, storage shelves, etc.

$100.00 flat rate Max Capacity: 25 participants – no minimum required
Dining Hall Main Room Rental

In addition to including use of the Front Porch, access to the Main Room includes a computer with an LCD projector, tables and chairs.  No access to Kitchen.

A-Frame Rental ½ $75.00 flat rate Max Capacity: 20 participants – no minimum required

Recreation Hall Rental

Includes rectangle tables and chairs. Please note that this building is not climate controlled.

Students and adults pay the same fee for environmental education programs. Availability of programming is determined by minimums met and staffing availability.
