As Georgia 4-H makes TENTATIVE PLANS to provide a delayed start and shortened summer camp season in 2020, there is no higher priority than the health and safety of campers, teen and adult volunteer leaders, and staff members. Georgia 4-H will only proceed with plans to camp if it is deemed safe to do so according to guidance from the University of Georgia, CDC, and the State of Georgia.

Community Camp

Unfortunately, Community Camp has been postponed until 2021.  However, your camper is still able to attend camp, at either Rock Eagle 4-H Center for Cloverleaf Camp, grades 5-6 or at Fortson 4-H Center for Junior Camp, grades 7-8.

Currently, Georgia 4-H is still hoping to hold 5 weeks of 4-H Camp at various 4-H Centers across the state. We are giving all Community Campers the opportunity to join their local County Extension to attend 4-H Camp even if their camper has not been previously involved with 4-H.

While we understand not having Community Camp is disappointing news, we hope your camper will consider attending 4-H Camp. Please see the contact information for four of our local Counties.  If your County is not listed let us know and we will get you the proper information.
