Wahsega’s dining hall is one of the properties original buildings dating back to the time when Wahsega was a base camp for the Civilian Conservation Corps. We have a full kitchen staff available to serve your group three meals a day. The kitchen staff at Wahsega makes everyone feel welcome at our family’s table. The kitchen is, after all, a family’s gathering place. We work diligently to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions. From providing a vegetarian option to providing a restriction specific meal, our dining hall ensures our guests are comfortable and well fed. Please communicate your dietary needs and we will do our best to meet them. And just like at grandma’s house, adult guests will be glad that the coffee pot is always on and a selection of herbal and black teas are available as well.
There is no kitchen to use to prepare your own meals. But we do have a regular sized fridge and freezer in pavilion 4 you can use and we have several charcoal grills and campfire rings.
Let us facilitate a little fun for your group during your stay at Wahsega. Our instructor led classes provide a great way to learn more about the beautiful environment surrounding your group. If you’re a more adventurous bunch, we offer three different high ropes elements and team building activities that are sure to get your heart rate up a bit Some popular activities include:
- Zip Line
- Climbing wall
- Flying squirrel
- Team building–Learn to work together by playing together through out challenge courses.
- Archery–Channel your inner Katniss and pull back the bow.
- Stream Ecology–Wade in Ward creek and learn about the life you find there.

What if I’d like to bring a group for just the day? Of course, we’d love to have you experience Wahsega if only for a day. Your group will have access to the grounds, trails, pavilions, and creek.
