Georgia 4-H is supported grants from AmeriCorps. The AmeriCorps State program, founded in 1993,  supports a wide range of local service programs that address critical community needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment. It is part of the Corporation for  National and Community Service. Funding for the State program is administered by the Georgia Commission on Service and Volunteerism.
