4-H Tidelands Nature Center

Nestled on the southwest side of Jekyll Island, next to the salt marsh on the pristine ’Tidelands’ Pond, is one of Jekyll’s hidden treasures, 4-H Tidelands Nature Center. Tidelands offers coastal ecology programs for the public & school groups, guided kayak tours, canoe rentals, and a live coastal species exhibit gallery. In keeping with Georgia 4-H Environmental Education program objectives, Tidelands strives to develop an awareness, knowledge, and appreciation for the environment, as we connect participants with Georgia’s coastal ecosystems. ANNUAL Tidelands Art Sale- Sat – Feb 18, 2023 9:30am- 4:30pm at the Morgan Center, located in the Jekyll Island Historic District

4-H Tidelands Nature Center is hosting its Annual “Art Inspired by Nature Sale and Auction” on Saturday, February 18^th from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Morgan Center in Jekyll Island’s Historic District. Local artists will showcase their work including paintings, metal sculptures, scarves, bath and body products, and woodwork. Auction items include artwork, restaurant gift cards, kayak and horseback tours, a trip to Sapelo Island, Little St. Simon’s Island, Jax Zoo, Oatland Island Education Center, and more! The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 18^th at the Morgan Center on Jekyll. Proceeds go toward enhancing and educational exhibits at Tidelands.
