Georgia 4-H and Georgia FFA State Livestock Shows
Georgia 4-H and Georgia FFA, partnering with the University of Georgia Animal and Dairy Science department, offer extraordinary educational opportunities for youth involved in livestock programs. The State Livestock Shows proved youth the opportunity to exhibit their animals projects in the Market Goat, Market Lamb, Breeding Heifer, Market Beef, Market Hog, Breeding Doe and Breeding Ewe Shows. Through these projects students have real-life experiences as they learn responsibility through raising, caring for and showing livestock. Livestock projects give students the opportunity to practice and acquire new knowledge in the fields of animal science, business, time management and leadership.
