In-school programs are the core of 4-H programming and provide fifth through twelfth grade students leadership experiences, hands-on learning, and chances to explore areas of interest. Young people engage in group activities that promote personal development, healthy lifestyles, a sense of citizenship, and character education.  Georgia 4-H faculty and staff partner with educators through in-school delivery and encourage and promote the Georgia Standards of Excellence. Cloverbuds, our youngest 4-Hers in grades K-3, are active in select counties. The 4-H Cloverbud Program uses as a hands-on approach to encourage children to explore plants, animals, science, nutrition, and the home.  To find out about school programs and Cloverbuds in your community, contact your Local County Extension Office.
