The Healthy Habits Grant is sponsored by the WalMart Foundation.  The purpose of the grant is to promote healthy eating using recommended nutritional guidelines and to encourage physically active lifestyles among youth.  Counties have the opportunity to apply for a grant to help support this program within their local areas.

Healthy Living Ambassadors

Each summer, youth ambassadors are trained to teach classes and lead activities related to the Healthy Living goals within their own communities.  Some of the activities included are making snacks with the smoothie bike, conducting scavenger hunts, learning about food scarcity, and discovering how to create community gardens.  This is held during the week of Senior Camp.
