Georgia 4-H provides opportunities for youth to learn by doing in the focus areas of agriculture, science, civic engagement, leadership, health, and wellness. Youth can participate in 4-H in every Georgia county through in-school and after-school programs, community events, project work, and summer camping experiences. Adult mentors provide guidance and encourage 4-H’ers to take on proactive leadership roles as they work to make the best better.

4-H CENTERS

Georgia 4-H operates five 4-H Centers around the state from the mountains to the coast. These centers host various 4-H groups but are also open for non-4-H adult and youth groups with conference space, overnight accommodations, meetings rooms and catering facilities.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

As one of the nation's largest providers of environmental education, Georgia 4-H provides opportunities for day and overnight educational experiences at our centers around the state.

PROGRAMS

4-H programs are available in each county of Georgia through local 4-H clubs, 4-H camps, in-school and after-school programs.  With the support of adult mentors, youth select from a variety of hands-on projects in which to research, learn, and compete.
