Overview

Summer Camp Program at the Wahsega 4-H Center for children in military families!  This is a free week of camp sponsored by the National Military Family Association.  Campers will stay in a rustic cabin nestled in the forest with two fun and caring counselors per cabin.  Days will be spent outside playing games, getting to know fellow campers and counselors and learning new things during our hands-on classes.  Classes include herpetology (the study of reptiles and amphibians), wilderness survival, archery, stream ecology, and forest ecology.  All campers can also take part in high ropes activities including the climbing wall, zip line, and the flying squirrel.  Cooling off in the pond, waterfall, and shallow stream is a very popular activity for everyone.

Dates: July 12 – 17, 2020

Camper Ages: 8 – 13 years old
