Overview

The Coastal Georgia 4-H Military Adventure Camp is a weekend camp for youth with a parent currently serving in the military, with priority being given to Air Force families. Hosted at UGA Marine Extension on Skidaway Island (near Savannah, Georgia), participants will have the opportunity to learn about marine creatures, tour the aquarium and touch tanks, hike through the maritime forests, complete a dolphin study, stargaze, and more! Due to UGA Marine Extension requirements, youth must be in grades 5-8 for the 2020-2021 school year.

The camp begins with check in on Friday, 21 August 2020 from 7:00-7:30PM. Campers should eat dinner before they arrive. A light evening snack will be provided. All meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday will be provided. Lodging will be hotel-style dorm rooms with 2 bunk beds per room. Males and females will be housed separately. Pick up will be on Sunday, 23 August 2020 from 9:00-9:30 AM.
