Overview:
Georgia 4-H’s camping program allows youth to experience classes that may include canoeing, archery, swimming, arts and crafts, and environmental education. Campers make memories that will be cherished for years to come. Self-discovery and group dynamics offered by time away from home in a residential camp setting help young people develop their independence and build relationships with their peers in a safe and fun environment.
Georgia 4-H will offer two camp options funded by the Army. Camp priority is for Army-dependent youth ages 12-14; however, all military-dependent youth are encouraged to apply.  Army youth can select to attend a 3-day residential retreat or a six-day, five-night residential summit. To learn more about camp options, please review the camp-specific opportunities below.
Registration priority is for Army youth; however, Air Force, reserve, military-civilian employees, and other service components/branches dependent-youth can apply to attend the Warrior Summit and Outdoor Connection Retreat. Georgia 4-H will fill available camp slots with other service branch youth and maintain a waitlist as appropriate.
