Virtual Offerings
We are pleased to also offer a select number of virtual field trip options. One hour programs are $50.00, during which our educators can join in your classroom virtually to highlight Georgia’s amazing classroom from the mountains to the sea.
Some of the programs that Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island is offering virtually include:
- Herpetology (Reptiles)
- Sea Turtles
- Shark Dissection
- Squid Dissection
To reserve a virtual program, please complete your request at Burton 4-H: Virtual EE Programs Request Form.
For questions, please contact EE Program Coordinator Erine-Fay McNaught (erinefay.mcnaught@uga.edu, 912-786-5534).
Georgia 4-H Environmental Education provided a spring and summer series of pre-recorded program offerings, all of which are still available free of charge. The fifty different episodes are approximately 5-20 minutes each and cover a range of topics including astronomy, beaches, birds, insects, reptiles, streams, wildlife, and more. Visit georgia4h.org/ee/archive for a complete list and links to each episode.
Thank you for your continued support of Georgia 4-H!
