2008 Georgia 4-H Achievement Scholarships

Who? Senior (12th grade) 4-H'ers and 4-H'ers currently enrolled in college are eligible.

Application is considered complete when each of the following items has been received by the deadline, March 3, 2008. Please include the following items in your submission:

  1. Scholarship Application, including all required signatures (typewritten 12 pt. font)
  2. Official high school or college transcript (No copies will be accepted). 
  3. Personal statement prepared by 4-H'er (Not to exceed 1 page, 12 pt. Times New Roman font, double spaced). 
  4. Letter of recommendation from County Extension Agent. 
  5. If you wish to be considered for scholarships that consider your financial need, attach the statement of need located on page 4 of the scholarship application.
One application serves all Georgia 4-H Achievement Scholarships. However, the 4-H'er is responsible for indicating on the application if he/she wishes to be considered for scholarships that consider financial need.


    To be considered for the 2008 Georgia 4-H Scholarships, your completed application must be received on or before March 3, 2008.

4-H Agents and 4-H'ers will receive notification by the first week in April.
