Certified Coaches Trainings
Certified Coaches Trainings are held at various times during the year. The trainings are designed to help coaches establish and conduct 4-H youth development programs related to Target Sports. Training consists of 8 hours of discipline training (Archery, Pistol, Rifle or Shotgun) and 6 hours of youth development training that includes information on working with youth, chartering your 4-H Club and Risk Management. Following is information for upcoming trainings.
- October 31 - November 2 (Information and Schedule)
- Training for Archery, Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun
- A new Advance Archery Training (NADA Level II) will be offered for previously certified coaches in archery.
- December 5 - 7
- February 20- 22
Certified Coaches Database
Coaches Listserv
A certified coaches listserv has been established to help provide coaches and county staff with information related to 4-H events, policies, and event rules. Certified coaches have the opportunity to join the listserv when they complete a coaches training or may request to join the listerv at anytime. Coaches and county staff can request to join or be removed from the listsev by emailing a request to mzeigler@uga.edu.
