ANNOUNCEMENT:
All 2007 4-H Ambassadors in attendance at State 4-H Council will be recognized during the Saturday afternoon assembly. We will have certificates and bring each ambassador on stage. This is not required but if you are attending we hope you will participate.  You will enter the auditorium with your district at the front of your district's line.  You will receive more details at State 4-H Council. 

End of the year reports will be due July 30th. Check back for the online report. You will receive a paper copy at State 4-H Council or in the mail if you do not attend Council.
 

Ambassador Weekend was just the beginning.  Now comes your opportunity to share with others.   Don't forget to complete your monthly reports and if you like apply for grants.

REPORTING
Reports should begin with an August report and be completed each month. Even if you have no activities to report, complete the beginning information.  Reports should be sumbited by the 10th of the month (for example, October's report is due November 10th).

Online Report 
Provides ambassadors an opportunity to complete the report through a web program. 

Ambassador Report Form
Provides a word document of the form to be filled in through word or printed and handwritten.  Documents may be returned as an email attachment to jwj4h@uga.edu with AMBASSADOR REPORT in the subject line or snail mailed or faxed (information below)  Faxes are submitted to AMBASSADOR PROGRAM 706-542-4373 or mailed copies to AMBASSADOR PROGRAM, 309 HOke Smith Annex-UGA, Athens, Ga 30602

GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
Grants are awarded to Ambassadors through an application process. Each grant is considered based on it's potentional use of funds, individuals reached and appropriateness for funding.  Applications are accepted all year. Ambassadors are not guarnteed any grant funds and should not assume that an applicatoin will automatically be funded in full. Following the grant award, a report of the project must be submitted.

From August 2007
What a fantastic training.  We hope you enjoyed the UGA campus, meeting other 4-H'ers and your training session.  Check back during this week for more updates on reporting and options you have for your monthly reports. We have adapt the requirements to 6 sharing and 6 learning activities during the year with atleast one each quarter. The quarters are (Sept-Nov, Dec-Feb, March-May, June-August).

First things first.......

  • Click here and complete the survey.  Once your survey is complete your name will appear on the 4-H Ambassadors list and your certificate and pin will be mailed to you.

  • Visit your county Extension agent and let him/her know about your weekend and your plans.  Share your enthusiasm and be open to suggestions.

  • If you took pictures this weekend that you'd be willing to share, email them to jwj4h@uga.edu.  We will put up an Ambassador gallery soon.
