It is almost time for you to join us in Atlanta! Just a few more days until the conference! Here are some more great reasons that you should plan to join us in Atlanta for NAE4-HA, Oct. 21 - 25, 2007!

Reason Number 3 to attend the 2007 NAE4-HA conference in Atlanta Georgia:

Our own Jennifer Nettles, lead singer of the dynamic country duo, Sugarland, will open the conference on Sunday night as she performs with Georgia's nationally renowned 4-H performing arts group Clovers & Co.! Jennifer was a seven year member of Clovers & Co. and credits 4-H as a key to her success as a performer.

Here are some more important things you will want to know about the conference.

Days of Conference: Business Attire
Tuesday Evening: Professional Casual
Wednesday Tours: Professional Casual
Wednesday Evening: Professional Casual
Thursday Evening: Semi-Formal / Formal
Business Attire is appropriate for professional functions of the conference.

Conference Bags: Conference bags this year can be carried as a shoulder bag, backpack or a tote bag. They are designed to carry your laptop as well as all your conference needs including business cards, a water bottle, etc.

From the Conference Transportation Committee: For airline travelers: We recommend you contact Atlanta Link for transportation to the conference - particularly if you have a large amount of luggage. If you are arriving from the A through E Gates take the train to baggage claim, once you disembark the train, take the escalator to the Arrivals Lobby, you will see the Atlanta Link ticketing / customer service counter at the top of the escalators in the Ground Transportation Information Center. Once you have purchased your ticket from the counter and have retrieved your luggage, follow the signs to Delta Baggage Claim South Terminal, exit through doors S-5 or S-6. The Shuttle vehicles are located in the middle island.

If you arriving from the T Gate follow the signage to Baggage Claim, after retrieving your luggage follow the signs to the Arrivals Lobby, you will see the ticketing / customer service counter at the top of the escalators in the Ground Transportation Information Center. Once you have purchased your ticket from the counter and have retrieved your luggage, follow the signs to Delta Baggage Claim South Terminal, exit through doors S-5 or S-6. The Atlanta Link vehicles are located in the middle island.

Note: Due to airport construction, Atlanta Link vehicles are not located in Ground Transportation. Our vehicles are outside of Delta Baggage Claim South Terminal in the middle island. Should you have any difficulties in locating the booth at the airport, please feel free to call Atlanta Link offices at (404) 524-3400.

Seminars and Poster Sessions at the Conference: Check out the conference website for seminars and poster session abstracts to determine the sessions you would like to attend. You can read the abstracts and decide what classes you don't want to miss. You will receive a copy at registration so there is no need to print unless you want to read them on the plane. Free Wi-Fi Available at Centennial Olympic Park
Free wireless Internet access is available in and around the Visitor Center and FountainSide Cafi at Centennial Olympic Park. Visitors wishing to utilize this service need to have a laptop equipped with a wireless network card. Accessing the network is then as simple as connecting to the "PARKWIFI" network and opening an Internet browser, no registration required. Centennial Olympic Parks Visitor Center is home to the interactive brick locator kiosks, public restrooms and friendly volunteers who can answer questions about the Park as well as the city of Atlanta. The Visitor Center is open daily; hours vary on holidays and by season. www.centennialpark.com
