CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS:
The Georgia Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals invites you to submit a proposal to present at the 2007 National Association of Extension 4-H Agents (NAE4-HA) Annual Conference, held in Atlanta, Georgia. Participants will build a "Peach of a Profession" as they learn the best practices of positive youth development and renew
their personal and professional spirit. Join us by submitting a proposal for one of the four types of presentations as well as sharing your knowledge and experience with us.

Proposals for presentations at the 2007 NAE4-HA Annual Conference will be submitted via the 2007 Conference website. Proposals must be submitted by 12:00 midnight (EST) Eastern Standard Time, Monday, January 15, 2007. Go to the site listed below and type in the information requested on the form, click the “Submit” button and your abstract will be submitted. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your submission. The URL for proposal submissions is: http://georgia4h.org/public/apps/callforproposals/login/login.cfm .

JENNIFER NETTLES TO APPEAR
Jennifer Nettles, lead singer of the country duo “Sugarland” and a former Georgia 4-H’er, will join us for the 2007 conference opening event and perform with Clovers & Company. Jennifer was a member of Clovers & Co. for seven years as well as a Georgia State 4-H Officer.
PRIVATE EVENT AT GEORGIA AQUARIUM
We will have the world’s largest aquarium all to ourselves on Wednesday evening of the conference as we enjoy a reception catered by the renowned Wolfgang Puck. With 8 million gallons of fresh and marine water and more than 100,000 animals representing 500 species from around the globe, you’re sure to see things at the Georgia Aquarium that you’ve never experienced before!
COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT
2007 Conference attendees will have a great opportunity to make a difference in Atlanta through participation in the Festival of Trees Community Service Project. You’ll have the opportunity to make some “Peachy” ornaments to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. More on this coming soon!
