Atlantic Station & IKEA—
Southern Living Magazine recently listed Atlantic Station as one of the top five reasons to love Atlanta.  Atlantic Station is a large urban renewal project in Midtown Atlanta.  This mixed use land development is built on the former site of the Atlantic Steel Mill.  When this project is completed it is projected to include 12 million square feet of retail, office, residential and hotel space as well as 11 acres of public parks.  It is so big that it has its own zip code!

Atlantic Station is made up of three distinct areas:  The District (where most of the retail and office space is located), The Commons, and The Village (where IKEA is located).

The District is set up as an outdoor mall with many choices for shopping, dining, and a 16-screen Regal movie theater.

IKEA’s store is one of the largest in North America with its second largest restaurant and the only one to serve grits.  This is the only IKEA store in the south.
For more information go to www.atlanticstation.com.

Cost for this event is $5.
