Since its inception over 100 years ago, 4-H has worked to instill its motto "Learn By Doing" into every individual that has participated in its organization. Today, over 70 countries have established 4-H programs seeking to develop their youth in a positive and impactful way. Unfortunately, not all countries have been successful in their attempt to establish 4-H clubs and programs.

The India 4-H Youth Development Partnership Plan (I-4 Partnership) is a pilot that seeks to establish self-sustaining 4-H clubs in countries around the globe. In its inaugural endeavor, individuals from the N.G. International School will travel to Georgia from June 18th - 29th, 2012, to learn about the GA 4-H program through observation and participation. Click here to view the travel itinerary.

Through their involvement in the I-4 program, these visitors will work to establish their own 4-H program in India. The I-4 Partnership seeks to equip the visiting group with the tools they will need to create a 4-H program unique to their region of the world, and sustain the effort into the future.

The I-4 Partnership will work, through these autonomous 4-H clubs and programs around the world, to create sustainable livelihoods and improve economic security for young people. The I-4 Partnership utilizes the traditional model of agricultural development through education, innovative partnerships, and positive youth development to achieve positive change among the world's youth and the places they live.
