Specialty Camps

In addition to the regular camping opportunities, additional Georgia 4-H summer camps scheduled in 2018 include Marine Resources Camp at Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island, July 16-23, for students who have completed the sixth, seventh, or eighth grades; or Wilderness Challenge Camp at Wahsega 4-H Center, July 2-6, for students who have completed the sixth, seventh or eighth grades (Wilderness Challenge campers must be 12-years-old on or before July 2, 2018).   High school students may attend Senior Camp at Rock Eagle 4-H Center, July 2-6; or, Senior EXTREME Camp, a more primitive camping experience at Rock Eagle 4-H Center, June 11-15 (or both!).   If you are unable to attend the specific Cloverleaf or Junior camping week assigned to your county, you might consider Community Camp at Fortson 4-H Center, July 15-19 (campers must be 9-years-old by September 1, 2017, to attend Community Camp in 2018).   Georgia 4-H also partners with different organizations to help sponsor several unique camping opportunities for children and youth in military families.
